Hathersage Brass Band is a non-contesting village band with a regional footprint. We have supported Hathersage village, since 1882, at events throughout the year.
We play a wide variety of music across a full performance and concert schedule that stretches into wider Derbyshire, across to Nottinghamshire and up to South Yorkshire. Regular events include our own concerts in Hathersage in Spring and Autumn, outdoor concerts in a number of villages to celebrate their Well Dressings, Fetes and Galas during the summer season, while during the winter the band is busy with Christmas concerts and playing carols.
We are proud of our roots and heritage entertaining a wide range of audiences across a broad geography.
Our members range from young players who are still at school, right through to those who have retired. We are a friendly group of musicians who are very happy to welcome new players across all areas of the band.
Rehearsals take place on a Sunday evening from 7pm - 9pm at Green Lawns Community Centre, Warren Walk, Marsh Lane, Sheffield S21 5RX and all are welcome.
